SOS - Save Our Salmon!

When you go the local supermarket to buy fish, it’s nice to see a wide variety of fish but some of those fish are in danger of being ‘overfished’ (not leaving enough in the sea).

Certain types of fish are in fact dying out because of mass-scale fishing to fulfil their customers’ demands. The good news is that there are fish that are OK to buy and fish is also very good for you as it contains Omega oils which make you extra brainy.

So when your mum or dad go to the shops, copy this list and take it with you and keep them away from the endangered fish … even if it is on ‘special’!

Don’t forget to make sure tinned fish says ‘Dolphin Safe’ on the label. That means that the way they caught the salmon or tuna was less likely to kill dolphins.
